My name is Alexa Young
Angelica Ortiz-Cichocki is the founder and CEO of Circular Language Services. She is a Spanish certified court interpreter and translator. She has been living and working in Southern California for over 16 years.
Her passion for languages has guided her career in Literature and Linguistics at Universidad de Guadalajara (UdeG) followed by translation studies at New York University (NYU) and judicial interpretation at San Francisco State University (SFSU).
Although English and Spanish are her working languages, she is also fluent in French and Italian.
With a background as a writer, she has been included in several publications in the United States and her native Mexico. She has translated various books, subtitled two feature documentary films, worked for Coursera as a Language Coordinator establishing translation and subtitling standards for multiple university courses.
As an interpreter, she has provided her services at local, national and international conferences with speakers including local and state politicians and leaders, advocates, members of the United Nations Human Rights Council, dignitaries, UN commissioners, to name a few.

Su pasión por los idiomas ha guiado su carrera en Letras Hispánicas en la Universidad de Guadalajara, seguida de una certificación en traducción en New York University y de interpretación legal y médica en San Francisco State University.
Aunque el inglés y el español son sus idiomas de trabajo, también habla con fluidez el francés y el italiano.
Su objetivo como profesional lingüístico es facilitar la comunicación, ya sea escrita o verbal, en una variedad de entornos. Ha vivido y trabajado en el sur de California durante más de 12 años.
